THE PATH TO POWER THROUGH POWERLESSNESS

Before we even start, the word power actually means action. It is a verb. Look it up. Gaining the power you need must be coupled with the ability to keep it flowing constantly. This is the key to true power through powerlessness, through letting go of the ideas of control we may cling to. Often we all have bouts of feeling powerful, confident and energetic. These feelings often fade and dwindle and can be replaced by feelings of doubt and powerlessness. Keep a consistent and unfaltering reserve of power that will always be available. To do so you need to look once again to the more holistic self. Not just your body but your mind and spirit as well.

So hear this: “AFTER ACCEPTING POWERLESSNESS. IS TRUE POWER. NOT FORCE”. This is Power through powerlessness. It is important not to confuse the two. “It is by recognizing that we gain power through powerlessness to control our life experiences out of ego-self that we can access the power out of True Self, Spiritual Self. By surrendering the illusion of ego control we can reconnect with our Higher Selves.  Selfishness out of ego-self is destroying the planet. Selfishness out of Spiritual Self is what will save the planet.”

“Someone in the meeting talked about how there were three steps that mentioned power. The first tells me that I don’t have it; the second tells me where to find it; and the eleventh tells me how to access it – through prayer and meditation.”

There is more power available other than what you think there is, or perceive there is. I must emphasize that there is a constant stream of energy that flows directly between you and God. From the Buddhist monks, the sage’s of Indian to the guru’s in Hindu and the Shaman’s of the world – they all practice daily rituals of quiet and meditation to constantly tap into this stream of power. It is accessed via power through powerlessness. Power meaning action; look it up! These techniques are used more and more by western society as we become more attuned to the idea that this ceaseless flow exists. The bible talks endlessly about power that is available. Power in terms of purposeful action. Power attained from powerlessness which is having no power, where we are unable to do something or to stop something. Powerlessness is defined as lacking the authority or capacity to act or being devoid of strength or resources. Is this not how we truly have to live as mortal human beings?

Judith Orloff agrees that, ‘The secret to kindling energy is to get beyond the cerebral’. You heal addiction with your heart not your head. This is Power through powerlessness. The head seeks control and the opposite of powerlessness; what it believes to be powerful.

Power comes from beyond your body and mind. This leaves you somewhat open to experiencing power through powerlessness. The ego fights this idea; often leading to addiction. The body does not sustain itself without nourishment. Neither does the mind and spirit. We must learn to tap into the same abundant energy that the entire universe runs off of. Tree’s, the birds and even flowers in spring faultlessly and energetically keep on growing, reproducing and nourishing themselves from the invisible power of energy that runs creation. Invisible energy takes belief to understand. To be really able to see energy is to feel it and to know it, and you will cease to know fear once you are on purpose. Delete doubt and begin to trust what is and you will never know lack, never go without what you need.

Blessed are those who trust in God…They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they go right on producing fruit. Jeremiah 17:7

Accept this offering of abundant power as soon as you can. It is indeed called Power through powerlessness! In fact be quick to accept it and grow, learn and work at accessing this miraculous energy flow. Life can become overwhelming and downright impossible to conquer if you are not accessing constant daily energy to get through a single day successfully.
