But, is lasting change really possible? Now, that’s a good question. 30 targeted days is keeping a month simple, right? You can write a novel, tick off a page of to do’s, send a person a day a beautiful message, or even make step 8 amends. Often tasks seem too big, too out of control to accomplish in the present moment. Sometimes a little perspective is all we need. “Change is like us. It is alive, flowing, moving & shifting. People who live outside of their comfort zones make their dreams, passions and goals come alive” (Mark L Lockwood).

So now, how to change your life right now? The answer seems to be a flat out yes. But sound easy? Definitely not. We have to remember that change is much like us. It is alive. It is flowing, moving and shifting. So lasting change would come with practicing change. Practicing change though, can become one of the best habits of highly effective people. People who live outside of their comfort zones and make their dreams, passions and goals come alive.

Nevertheless trying something new for 30 days sounds manageable. It sounds doable. You might not have been looking for such a challenge when you started reading articles on the net today. But here it is. A Challenge. An opportunity. A calling perhaps? How to change your life right now is a question that might need answering.

Now, whoa naysayers! In no way are we saying you can change an addiction. Recover over night, or in a month. Although it has certainly been done many times before, it’s not the usual expectation. So keep it simple. Keep it motivation focused.

Change is a process, much like this model of change below. It’s alive. Like you, and with balance, belief and effort it can be used to help you get what you really, really want.

Instead of trying to do, be and have more, simplify your life and remember these powerful ideas on how to change your life right now:

1. You have a lot to be grateful for. Start celebrating what is going well, instead of focusing on what isn’t working.

2. What you learn on the way is often more important than the destination.

3. Your actions show more commitment than your words. Stop telling people about your dreams and goals; show them.

4. You’ve already arrived. There is nothing more to do or be. You are enough as you are in this moment.

5. Your life is too short to spend it at war with yourself. Start to see your unique beauty and gifts. You have something the world needs, so honor and share that.

6. You can’t think your way through what you feel. Trust yourself. Your heart knows the way.

7. You’ll have more freedom when you live less from habit and more from intent.

8. Move on from and forgive. Anyone who hurt you is trying to make sense of a world that is hurting them. Forgiveness will set you free.

9. Difficult roads lead to divine destinations. Trust the journey. The purpose will be revealed.

10. At any given moment, you have a choice that will lead you closer to what you want, or further away. Choose what feels expansive and joyful. That is the right choice for you. That my friends is, how to change your life right now!
